It’s never too early to start dreaming about the summer. I’m sure we all agree about this. Especially if you love Italy, South of France, Greece and Mallorca and you would like to channel their unique style into your garden or patio. Contemporary Mediterranean style continues to be such an important trend for outdoor design. Talenti, a producer of modern Italian outdoor furniture, has collaborated with many leading designers in the field. So today I’m writing about my three favourite collections by the brand. Scroll down for beautiful images and get inspired!
Coral Collection by Marco Acerbis
If you like minimalism and neutral colour palette, you will be attracted to the Coral collection. Coral’s designer, Marco Acerbis, has achieved a balance between the solid seats of modular sofas and the ultra light chairs and lounge seats. His designs feature subtle marine references, like ropes that cover the backrests and the handles of the seats. What if you would like some more colour? You can boost these greys and beiges by adding warm, peach cushions. I can definitely picture this modern Italian outdoor furniture collection on a sunny Mediterranean patio.

Cliff Collection by Ludovica+Roberto Palomba
The nautical theme continues with the Cliff and Cliff Dèco collections. Talenti asked the renowned designers Ludovica and Roberto Palomba to create a luxury outdoor furniture collection. They came up with an idea inspired by the traditional Mediterranean handcraft. You can instantly recognise it in the hand-woven backs and armrests made of intertwined nautical cords. At the same time, delicate geometric patterns keep the collection modern and playful. They blend well with the sophisticated colour palette that includes beige, dark grey, green, blue, plum and red. Needless to say, these versatile pieces will look as great near the pool as they will on a stone terrace in Puglia.
Casilda by Ramón Esteve
Finally, the Casilda collection by a Spanish designer Ramón Esteve is an ideal choice for minimalists. Here, you will find a colour palette that is more sober. It’s mainly white and shades of grey with occasional golden finish. The square-shaped pieces look timeless. The graphic tones of fabrics are complemented by natural wood table tops. Most importantly, Casilda’s clean, essential lines won’t overshadow beautiful surroundings. Since the pieces blend well with stone and other natural materials, they will also fit into a very modern, austere outdoor space of a modern home.
